This 1,220 LF of new roadway was proposed to provide traffic circulation between SR-99 and 12th Street East, a commercial industrial arterial. The project included widening and extension of an existing access road and upgrading to arterial standards with sidewalks on each side, storm drainage collection and conveyance systems, flow control and water quality treatment facilities, channelization, illumination, and provisions for relocation and undergrounding of existing dry utilities. CPH Consultants served as the civil engineer responsible for the design and construciton documents for this roadway and utilities improvements project. The project as located within the regulated 100-year floodplain, which required special compensatory flood storage and utility design and construction considerations.
